While going through my nightly routine of checking up on what my 1,000 closest friends were up to last night (AKA: checking out my Facebook News Feed,) I scrolled upon something that was truly inspirational. My words will not even begin to do it justice, so I encourage you to watch the video for yourself, and let your perspectives be changed. Disclaimer: this is a MAJOR tear jerker, I will admit my shirt was soaking by the end of the video – but definitely worth the shirt change. 🙂
One of my favorite parts throughout this touching video is when Zach’s Mother, Mrs. Sobiech talks about the positive attributes about that big C word that we all dread – cancer. Mrs. Sobiech is correct, cancer does make things more beautiful, makes moments more precious, and it makes you value life that much more.
Zach passed away yesterday, but his dying wish was for his perspective on life to be spread to the world. He wanted to share his happiness with others, and wanted to ensure that people saw the beauty in life. Please feel free to share this video with your friends, family, and loved ones.
Another must-see video dedicated to Zach is the video below of his song ‘Clouds,’ which is available on iTunes and all proceeds will benefit The Zach Sobiech Research Fund of Children’s Cancer Research Fund http://www.childrenscancer.org/zach.
And my favorite quote of the whole video, which some of us seem to forget – “you don’t have to find out you’re dying to start living.”
Thank you, Zach, RIP.
Thanks for sharing. Brings everything into prospective…. 😉
God always seems to have a way of bringing me to my knees – Thank you Alysia for sharing.
